Join a global hackathon to improve cross-border payments using ISO 20022 and APIs
The ISO 20022 Hackathon, hosted by the BIS Innovation Hub and SWIFT, invites teams to build and showcase solutions that improve cross-border payments, using the ISO 20022 standard for payments messages and APIs.
Over the next three years large parts of the world’s payment infrastructures will switch to ISO 20022, meaning that it’s time to get ready. Whether you are a bank, a fintech, payment service provider or corporate, this event will give your team a head start in preparing for and showcasing innovative solutions for the upcoming ISO 20022 transformation.
Join the Hackathon to benefit from ISO 20022 masterclasses with experts from cross-border payments network SWIFT, as well as the Swedish mobile payments app Swish (which relies on ISO 20022 and is used by more than 75% of the Swedish population). Then compete in a 7-day hackathon where you can leverage SWIFT’s API sandbox to adapt your existing product to take advantage of ISO 20022, or build and showcase new solutions leveraging ISO 20022 and APIs.
The winners will be announced and profiled at the BIS Innovation Summit (a 3-day virtual conference from 23-25 March).
